How do i richen up my 06 450r?

The header pipe glows red slightly at night and ithink its running lean.
Please let me know.

I think the glowing is normal as all 06's do it. The air/fuel screw is on the intake side of the carb hidden in bowl rim. You need a $100 tool to adjust it or you can take the bowl off and turn it with pliers. You can also put in a bigger slow jet but the needle has no adjustment on the 06. BTW...getting the HRC kit will richen it up a bit. :chinese:

Hey Transplant, did you have any trouble adjusting your accelerator pump with the tool provided in the HRC kit or did you install it?

No problems...it didn't turn super easy but it turned. I didn't take time to see what it did. I figure it was more throw on the pump lever?
