2006 TRX 450. Less then 20 min on it and head pipes glows red

Is this normal to do at night. It isnt cheer yred but you can def see the redness in it.

yea its normal but dont just sit in one place and rev the engine or it could over heat

My nieghbors quad does the same thing but you can only see it at night. at 1st i thoguht it was the pipe and filter we installed but the main went from 118 to 188 and the clip went from position 3 to 5 and the plug check was good.

I don't think he has to worry about overheating from idleing with a liquid-cooled engine.

Yea, it's normal as everyone else says. My YFZ does it too, as did my 400ex before that. As long as it's not a bright glowing red/orange that could blind you if you looked at it too long, it's not a problem.
