I'm going to be racing my first GNCC at Deep Creek on the 29th. I've been to GNCCs before, but I've never raced one and I have a question about the number plates. Hopefully someone here can help.

The GNCC rulebook (http://gnccracing.com/rulebook.html) specifys number plate colors. For my class (250B) I need to run yellow number plates. I've never even seen yellow number plates. Do they issue temporary numbers like at some races, or do I need to come up with my own? I'm not ready to tear off my black plates and invest in ugly yellow ones just yet...

Thanks

If the number on your quad and /or color don't match the number that you are given for the class, you will have to remove or duct tape up your old numbers for scoring. Thje only number that realy counts is the barcode sticker that they will put on your helmet at regestrition. The number on your quad is used for back-up and the colors or for the spectators to tell classes for the better riders.
