I took my stock heel guards off a few months ago and really like the look without them but my rear fenders were moving all over the place. I took them off because i had a stick run through and broke the right side one and bent it all up. What i did was took a hack saw and sawed off just the bracket of the heel guard where it connects to the frame and to the fenders and put it back on and it works perfect. Just though id let you guys know! because if you dont have them supported you will burn a whole in your plastic from your pipe!
Dose anyone have a right side heel guard i need to do it to the right side. Let me know if anyone has one that they want to get rid of?
