so what are the advantages of the higher bars? i got a new stem after bending mine it said +0 but with teh antivibe and new clamps on here my bars are a good 1 3/4 inches higher than before. i know itll be easier to get my feet over my seat for tricks and all. is there any ill effects for learning new freestyle stuff with high bars? i know alot of the really good guys are running VEry high bars

exactly, high bars make it so much easier to move around. i thought my fatbars clamp would make up for the cr high bends.... i was wrong. oh well.... i fixed that yesterday:devil:

I had 3.5" ROX risers and Tag CR High T2's on my blaster and I loved it. Probably1.5-2" taller than stock and made it much more comfortable. Easier to move around, easier to trick, easier to control.

Yes, some pros use pads, some don't. I say it's better to bust your face on a bar pad, then to bust it on a billet clamp anyday...:eek2: :o
Most of the pros that do run them put some zip ties on them to prevent from kicking the pad off doing bar hops and such.
Here's my Mini High bend Fly's. Good when sitting, even better when standing up or jumping. I hate how low bars make you feel so darn cramped and hunched over.

no doubt in my mind that if all you want to do is jump, high bars make things so much more comfortable. but if you take it on a moto track, good luck on corners and having mad arm pump!! haha oh and i always run bar pads unless i cant get one. better safe than sorry.
