450r shocks on +2 a arms

i got a 87 250r im looking to put shocks on it im hearing the 450r shocks will pit my r but will it be a good suspension with +2 a arms....

450r shocks are a great suspension upgrade for someone on a budget, especially on a 400ex. I'm not for sure if they'll fit the 250r good enough though. Even though they'll put you higher and then +2 aarms will put you lower the shock travel might still be way off. I'd try to find some older threads with people talking about their experiences. If you don't do R shocks, Works would feel better, but they're not fully adjustable. If you can find someone who will revalve and respring the R shocks for you and your bike then I'd do that. Give GT Thunder and Santo Derisi a call and see what they have to say on the 450r shocks on a 250r.

400ex and 250r shocks are the same!
so if its a good upgrade for a 400
then why not!

they're really the same. from the late 80s to late 90s honda didn't even do any suspension upgrading:huh
But they are great for the 400ex
