Trying to install a MSD unit on my 400ex, but Im stuck and don't want to cut into my harness until I know what up.
Here is the deal.
I got the MSD from a friend who crashed his quad and parted it out. When I got the MSD I did get the install manual, but thats where the problem is. The manual says to locate the original 4 pin connector and trace about 6" up and splice into the GREEN/WHITE and BLU/YELLOW wires. Problem is. I don't know where the 4 pin connector is.:rolleyes: They say it's right above the batt "looks like a square connector wrapped in electrical tape." But when I got into that section of wire I could not find the GRN/WHT wire at all. I only saw a green wire.:confused: So I re-wrapped the wires and Im stuck.
