where were they keeping score and how?? when i was there i saw nothing

They kept score using the transponders (they were attached to the quad) as they would go thru the finish line it automatically gets the quad number and how long it took on the last lap. Then it all fed to the computer which from what I understand was inside a tent where people could come and view the results as they were coming in.

Want to give a big Thanks to Harlen for letting us help out with the coverage again. It was a blast.

I hope the quad count doesn't discourage Pellan and crew from coming back next year. Ideally southern OH would be the perfect location. Rausch Creek has everything that a race like this needs. Lots of land and a great MX track. At night there was some minor course cutting no big deal though shaving off corners. I hope more people come out next year because once you race one endurance race they become addictive. Great race and a he!! of alot of fun.

Well everybody the 12 hours is over for another year and my team did a great job , again! With my teamates, Chris Borich and Cyle Chislock we were able to win it for my second time and chris' 3rd time! I would like to say thanks to all of the people who helped out this year. John Rowling, Joe borich, Chris' girl Dawn, of course my Girl Chelle. We also had a parts bike to use that I especially was thankful for cause I went out and broke some things. After my crash the pit crew went to work to fix a broke grab bar, put on a skid plate and bungy cord the seat on. Later we discovered that the light switch was damaged and we had to pull in to change that out. all of this together took about 4 minutes. I have to thank my teamates for picking up the slack because I hurt my wrist and had to sit one round out. Afterwards on monday I found out it hurt so bad because it was fractured! Some how I continued the race to help out and make up for my crash. As usual Chris was smooth, fast and dependable running consistent lap times to help pull away from the rest of the pack. New to this kind of thing was my buddy(Cyle Chislock) from california. I am really proud of this kid. He did a great job and ran lap times close to mine and chris'. He was consistant and made few mistakes. It took the whole team to do it rght and we proved that, at least for this year, we were unbeatable.
