Count me in that Laurens track is pretty sweet and they usually got some nice creek jumps too,but they better be a heat wave come thru SC by next weekend or i'm not camping this time I almost froze my boys off in Fallston....I guess i'll be like Rusty and get a hotel room at tha holiday inn:D ...Maybe they'll be a big turnout since the Nationals is over..:ermm:

Skip the Holiday Inn, there's a cheapie a few exits before Laurens. Can't remember what it's called, but you can see it from the highway and I recall it being under $40.00

We'll got to go to a new place today to ride,next to tha house,man I had a great time too...Gump I should have keep my mouth shut about your throttle:o ,my dang hot lever cable or something broke,now I'm gonna have to break that thing down to get to tha carburator before Saturday....:grr:

:cuss: ,Just got done breaking my quad down to see why my Hot start cable was weak...Make a long story short MR Cycles put a cam in my 4w,we'll when they put tha heat shield back on they didn't put the cables in tha retainer's,letting the gas tank set on the Hot start cable and after time it finally broke...That's not tha bad part:cuss: :mad: they was only 1 bolt holding my gas tank on,out of 6 and tha pull tabs was not fastened...It makes me wander how good of a job they done on the cam??

Ill be there. It will be my first race now that im finally old enough to race. lol Ill be racing 4-stroke c (16-24). Any info on how the track normally is or any tips or anything?

track is great ! nothing to hard, just some killer creek jumps, with ways around them for eddie.. just don't try to hard, you have to be there at the end. remember it's your first race. that's what santo's dad told me when i started, just go ride and have fun. the trophys will come. well i guess he was right, still waiting on all them trophys... :D

I might race both of em like daniel did one year when we had a three way tie in the senoir pro division. whoever first ---first for the year,whoever second---------second for the year,,,ect. That was a hellofa year. I think that was my first time on the cheatin podiom. I really tried hard. If you spend all ya money on the 4w,get skinny,ride ya bicycle,put on a refrig.,invent a bung kit,build a 500,cut a dip in the seat,put on sum xcr's,dont get ya lip out too far, and now add balls to the back,,,,,you will eventually get the job DONE!!!

you run the 4w and i'll come back to senoir, heck i'm coming back to senoir anyway just to see if jim will follow.. plus my son is going to break out his 05 400ex and my bro is breaking out his yfz450 for the race, and since these boys don't race but 1 or 2 a year, i'm gonna get out and give them a better chance to trophy, not that i would win or anything. hear that canipe ? gonna give the class back to the slower riders, "which i am one" heck i might run vet since eddie is out !! :D

I was behind a dramatically slower rider who went over the jump. I didn't realize what gear I was in when I decided to shift up over it, and caught neutral. A handful of throttle produced no forward motorvation.

I'm working on mounting up the LED gump getter 2000 front bumper just for the Hickory race. Everyone I beat gets 1000 lashes with a wet tie down strap. :D

We'll boy's i'm ready to race,just got my new hot start cable on last night,and put the thing back together..Thank's eddy for tha help,you was right about the small pieces in tha carb..You gotta be careful...I swear that thing is a whole lot Quicker since the throttle cable is straight and in the retainers...The way them morons at MR Cycles had put the heat shield back together it had both of the cables in a bind..I had probably lost a quater of throttle and the hot start was engaged slightly making the fuel too lean out:mad:....I was lucky not to burn a hole in tha piston:huh...I'm gonna camp Saturday night so i'll see you guys down there......:bandit:

well me and my son derrick, just got back from riding. let me tell you how this went. started out going to my old house in marion where we had alot of trails. they clear cut one side of the mountain, so we played helll getting to the top and found the trails. rode untill it got dusty dark and i told derrick lets head back. well i thought i knew this place better, i did ride my motorcycle here alot, but that was 12 years ago. the darker it got the more lost we were. we seen a street light and derrick said go to the light dad. i said no let's keep going. a mile later and even more lost we head back to the light. i pop out into a yard and take out some real nice bushes that had just been planted, i will go back and make it right with this family. to my surprise were a half mile from the truck on hwy 70.. load up and go to the beer store and were home.. now that was a trip.
now for the bad news for all these people gunning for me sunday.. and you know who you are. honda throttle,carb spring, jetted allmost right and just plum pisssed off from my previous finish, so i have no excuses... come get some !!!!!
and bonnie let's run unlimited and start us behind the old c class so we'll have a clear track. i was gonna get out of unlimted, but derricks mouth got me back in it..

Well well Gump.....

I started us in front of the 25+C and enjoyed them passing me halfway into the track!!!
I took a lap before the 16-24's caught up with me

I hope John got a hold of that bumper cause I never did.

I hope next time I race, Bryan puts a twist throttle on that thing!
Thumbs suck! Mine was numb from the second lap on!
