I'm in the process of buying sand tires, but I need them within 2-3days. None of the dealers over here have the rims that i need, so I would have to order them and i dont have the time. I found a set of Douglas Red Label rims (honda pattern) with SAnd Skate tires, that i think i am going to buy. Well, is there a way i can switch the banshee hubs with the 250r or 400ex hubs so the rims will fit onto it? Thanks!

i would bet the splines are different. you might call someone like nac's or alba and they would know for sure.

You might just have a machine shop redrill the holes in the wheels to fit your hubs.

my 400 hubs fit on my buddies '87 warrior. the only thing was that the hubs were a little longer and we couldnt get the cottoer pin back in the hole that holds the nut on. we had to keep rechecking it. but u could probably try to cut the hubs down a bit, if u dont need those hubs anymore. but otherwise i believe they should work but im not sure if most of the yamahas r the same like hondas.

The 400ex and Yamahs splines are the same. So changing hubs should be no problem. However the spines on a R are different.
