3500 is a bit low for a R with an aftermarket frame and swingarm. I would meet you at 4k but thats about bottom dollar.

I bought it from a local guy who had it for a while.

are you sure the frame is a Lovins frame and not an Arens frame?
and who did the engine?

I bought the bike as it sits. I havent done any research into what all is done to the bike. Previous owner has 4 or 5 built quads, this was his back up for his back up bike. He moved onto the 4 stroke world, and decided to sell this one because he seldom used it. He gave me the rundown on all of the parts. I was told that it is a lovins frame and swing arm, made for joe byrd. From what i understand, they dont make too many frames.... so i cant say 100% that it is a lovins frame, just what i was told. I believe Jinx did the motor. Local shop up near richmond. I bought it when i was in the market for a built quad. I dont ride nearly as much as i did earlier this year, so im selling it. If i wasnt crunched or money, i would never want to sell it, but you know how things go. Let me know if you want any more pics or any more questions.
