hey you know how used engine oil gets rid of rust on chains. If i have rust on my rotor can i set that in there nd get the rust off?

never put oil on your rotor. Your brakes won't grab as good. Use steal whool. Or the first time you put on your brakes it will take that rust off.

Oil helps to prevent rust, I don't think it will remove it.
