Well the time has come to change the clutch plates on my 300ex. I was just wondering what company you guys are using. I found a company named Tusk and they sell the entire kit, plates spacers and springs for 28.99. Should I give it a try. I dont see why I would buy an EBC set up for like 70 when this one is just as good.

Here is the link to the Tusk kit, it even uses EBC springs.

I'm more than likely getting the $28 kit. Just read the descriptions. It says everything that the EBC kit says. Also should I replace the gasket while I am re-doing this? Its a 01 and has never been taken apart so I think I should be safe and just pay the extra $8 for the gasket.

You will need a new gasket.

and since I have to drain the oil to do this, has anyone ever used one of those re-usable oil filters. I found one online that comes with a new cover too. Are they any good, you do you think that I should just stick with the paper ones.
