stearing stem problem

when i pull up on my handle bars there is like a inch of up and down movement. What would be causing this. Bushings? Bearings? :confused:

make sure your stem clamp in on (Im pretty sure it is) and check the nut on the bottom of the stem under the frame. Dont be afraid to locate the problem yourself without totaly relying on others, check it out for yourself first!
