what is the best trail quad, the new 450r, yfz or the 700 raptor

I would probably say raptor because it has reverse. All are fast and handle good.

nah..... raptor maybe good, but i still think there to dam top heavy... if ur a good rider on the 450 you could easily waist it in the woods..... 450's are more versatile and manuervarable(sp?), so im gonna go with the 450(either one, there about even for 2006)

I know nothing about the new Polaris Outlaw but I think that, that would be the best trail quad, just because it has IRS.

I was thinking the same thing, those 500 motors put out great power too.

IRS isn't for off camber trails............ and kick starting a quad on a steep hill where both brakes are required to hold ya still can be a bit tricky..............

I have never owned a quad with reverse as my primary ride, before getting the new raptor 700. For trails,,,,,,,,,,I gotta think the new raptor is the most versatile. I have owned a 450R with a kick start. They are great trail machines, but I would prefer the new electric start version. Reverse isn't a must have item for me. The new raptor is much more stable than the old.
