Believe me, I have had 22 inch razrs on a 300ex before, and you dont want them. Get the 20/21 combo. It works the best by far. Tons of torque.

New rims too, for sure. That thing looks nice, but with the big rims and tires, it looks so narrow, it looks like a roller skate, lol.

Wow, that is crazy looking with those wheels and tires. Heck, send that pic to Maxxis and they might give you a free set out of pity, lol.

It's a good looking bike, really, just need a 21/20 Razr combo on there. It'll handle soooo much better you will wonder how you rode it before...;)

good job, just take your time and do it right,if its going to take you a little while for the tires and wheels, let me know i will have a spare set nothing fancy not even sure what the tires are, rims are itp steel but they look good and would get you by until you get what you want.you just pay to have shipped.

I have holeshot XC 22's on the front of my 300ex and 20's on the rear. I'm thinking about changing to 21's in the front though.

I would get 22's on 10" rims. Thats what I am going to do to mine. I don't like the loss of ground clearance with the 18's. The 10" rim will take some of the sidewall out of the tire, so it will still handle good. If you want more low end then drop the front sprocket 1 tooth.

Get the 20 inch rears, they'll have plenty of ground clearance. 22's would be just a little too big. I know that's what they came with stock. But hell, 20 inch Razr 2's are just about as bis as the stock 22's on a 300. Trust me, 20 inch rears would be just fine.

heres a picture of the 20's. I race XC on rocky trails and havent had a problem yet. They are on a 10" Red Label.

you also have to remember I have a raptor rear so my quad sits up a little higher. Here is another picture.
