View Full Version : Rear Brake Master Cylinder Cup

My rear brake master cylinder cup is shot on my R. It doesn't seal good and my brakes are not working properly. It is the stock cup (square box that you have to screws holding the cap on).

Anyways I was wondering if any other cups off different models would work the same or better? I'm not worried about the mounting because I can always make a bracket if I have to. I tried a search, but it didn't really get me what I was looking for.

Thanks-

Sure, a different brake fluid ressy of a different bike would work fine. The newer ones are round and can be twisted off-- no tools, no little bolts to rust. Not sure which ones fit. For example, a 400ex ressy uses a different diameter hose. Good luck.
