Any difference in power between JE 13:1 & 13.8:1 sparks JE?

Have any of you guys moved from a 13:1 to the Sparks 13.8:1? Is there a big difference? I want more power, but I'm also a big fan of reliability. What's do you guys think?

yes your gonna get a power increase from that swap..the 13.8 is really a 13.5. some advantages of the 13.5 are. lighter than the 13.1 which will give you better revs. the sparks piston has deeper cut valve pockets for larger valves and more clearance. the sparks piston is also a 2 ring piston there for giving you less friction than the 3 ring 13.1..

we also just replaced a 450r with the sparks piston that had 70 hrs on it with no problems..

great piston in my opinion..

I don't have any experience with it, but i would expect some power gains!!

BTW Do you have any pictures of your 450 shamisc?!?!?!I like the look of it from what I see but if you do have any pictures could you please post them.
