wondering if anyone is running a linkless swingarm in the woods, or anywhere? How is it, and what setup? Does any use the stock airbox.

How do you like the way it handles vs stock linkage?

Isn't no link suppose to be a slighlty stiffer ride?

Holeshot19, do you have any pics of your bikes? They seem really nice.

I heard that the overall ride is better because it allows a better shock angle. But I really don't know, I never heard or running it in XC I though it was more an MX set-up. I could see it helping in XC cause you would gain lots of ground clearence.

the bike i raced last year was a lsr link bike it had axis all the way a round. the difference i most notice is the rear end is allways hooked up. its kind of reminds me of how a dirt bike rides when you shift you weight and load and uload the rear end you can make sail over stuff. this year i loaded up from upstate s.c and went to FL to run the first gncc it wooped out so bad i draw up and hit that stuff wide open. it would suck it up. the bad thing is i have weak a wrest and hit a bush and ended my day. the rear shock has so much up travel that it beats my air box up.

I thought you are supposed to run a special airbox with the linkless set-up. I know lsr sells one that cost an arm and both legs.

they do but its for mx racing. it pulls air from the bottom of the box. thats useless in woods racing. so you take a stock air box a grinding wheel, heat gun,and a lot of cusing.:blah
