Alright guys I was talking to this kid at school and told him I would sell him my 2004 400ex to him for $4,000 he said dang thats all he said that his dad would buy it for for only that much he's kinda a rich kid so I thought I should sell it to him do you think I should sell it to him because selling race quads around here is hard & I don't think I would get this much reguraly and I was thinkin of getting a dirt bike anyways for more racing so what do you guys think

thats a lot of money for your 400ex. I would go into buisness buying used 400exs and selling them to him for a grand more lol

yeah for real I am servicing and greasing up my quad and then I am going to ask my dad because he wants me to race dirtbikes

id sell it before he changes his mind. every 400ex i see for sale around here only goes for around 2500. and u can get a pretty good dirtbike for that much

yeah I am probably going to get a kx250
I will have the money from my quad + 1200 dollars and my parents said they would help me that way I could buy parts to make it woods race ready

yeh id say you get the better deal out of this one. If he wants to pay that much for it let him. around here we can buy a 2005 for 4000 right out of the dealership

well I am changing the oil, greasing the front end up & I might get the valves adjusted tonight

most everything else is good I also got to get the rear axle greased I already got the linkage

anything else anybody can think of

Funny you said that cuz I used to raced the 125 class 10 yrs ago and just got a YZ426 and I only ride with quads and they can't hang.....with me.... I like to see ya doing a 90' triple on a 125 pegged in 5th gear...........not saying it's easy to race quads...I used to do it in a ATC250R enduros and MX, but ........takes BALLZ to race a bike unless you just roll every jump......PeACE
