Im looking into buying a different carburator for my 426. I have a few questions though before I start looking. Are FCR carbs worth the money? I always hear that they will make a world of difference. Much better throttle response. Witch carb would be my best choice? I was looking at this edlebrock carb on ebay but I want to get the right setup. Here is the link of it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4584573196&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
Please help me out!

I would go with the FCR hands down. Worth every penny compared to stock. The Edelbrocks are nice but they have a tough throttle pull that will wear you out fast. The FCR will make the quad seem to rev faster and react quicker to throttle input compared to stock. For your setup I would probably go with a FCR39. A larger FCR will work too but a 39 should do fine on a 426.

Would you happen to know where the best place to buy the FCR?
