I know they both make great power but i also want a good sound.
I herd a hmf and it is loud and deep
I also herd yoshi is not as loud but more aggresive sounding
Wich one should i go with?

IMO you should get the HMF they are wicked sounding on a YFZ, but pick what you like.

The HMF has a loud deep sound the Yosh is loud but doesn't tone of the HMF.

yoshi's are made very well. maybe overdone for just trashing through the mud.

Ive got a HMF and love it, it has a much deeper sound than the Yosh, if you want a more high pitched sound than get the yosh!

Have the HMF on the YFZ 450 and the Yoshi on the Rappy. I like the quality, sound, and performance of the HMF. Highly recommend. Also for the YFZ 45O, recommend the Curtis Sparks. Make sure you get the full system on whatever you buy.

youve got to be freaking kidding me that you are making a decision based on sound and not performance

I would get the Quiet race series they sound real low like regular hmf's but it is just a tad quieter I heard it has the best low end power even better than the hmf Ballence series pipe I would just get the QRS because it has the low end power and all around power and it sounds good to

the yoshimura is also a good pipe I don't think they would sell them $600 dollars for nothin I also think you can buy the comp series in tri oval now the full system for comp series is only $400

I love my Yoshi pipe, it works great sounds good, and I love the shape of the Tri-oval because ti clears my caliper perfectly because my CT that I had kept getting bashed in and broken by the caliper

i got a kfx400 and the hmf full system and it sounds bad@$$. it sounds so much better than a yosh. the only good thing about a yosh is theyre much lighter. buuuuut they also cost about 300 bucks more. just make sure noise isnt an issue casue the hmf is also very loud and will piss neighbors off i ride in a private area so i dont got to worry about it

hmfs are loud and need to be repacked frequently, power gains are good, however, i find my ti 4 fmf with a powerbomb header makes more bottom end, im switching to fmf for racing this year because packing is easier to get here in canada, we got a 102 db sound limit now, the hmf is too loud for that. however fit and finish on the hmf is top notch, never tried a yohsi on a yfz so i cant comment on that
