I am runnin' my stock 400 shocks right now and they arent comfortable anymore (probubly cause im startin to hit bigger jumps.) I wanna do somehting with them to make it more comfortable when im riden the track, I just dont wanna spend $1000 + on shocks. Should I get them revalved or what? I was thinkin' about gettin stock 450 shocks which might help it a little bit but im not sure.

though the 450r shocks would ba a huge improvement, have you messed with your suspension settings on your 400? and what exactly is making it uncomfortable? too hard? check out google for suspension guides, that may help you not only get an idea of what i am talking about, but also how to relay what the problem is, and allow you to understand your suspension and all of its adjustments:cool:

There is nothing you can do to the front stock shocks. If you are low on cash you could probably find a set of 450r shocks cheap.

your best bet is to get 450r fronts and revalve and respring them to tripple or dual rates and revalve and respring your rear stock shock mabye dual rate

I was bottoming the hell out of my stockers, but then I got R shocks, not revalved yet, and they're such an improvement. The only times I bottom are on awful landings. You can get them for around 200 and then get them triple rate and made for your riding and bike for 400 from derisi, or only revalved for 180. They'll be better than the works (the same priced works) because they're fully adjustable

There isn't really anything you can do for the stock front shocks. They're non-serviceable, so your best bet would be to just look for a set of 450R fronts, or even a set of '05 and up LTZ/KFX 400 front shocks. They're preload, compression, and rebound adjustable. As well as being rebuildable.
