need the cheapest but loudest exhaust

i was just wanting a cheap exhaust more like in the 200 price range does any know of a pipe thats around in the 200 or 250 dollars or does anyone wanna sell there sip one exhaust

You can pick up a new HMF slip on for around that price range. It's probably the best pipe for the money.The only other choices would be a crappy cobra or DG but I wouldn't recommend them.

take the stock muffler off and go ride...loud as hell and free

Like they have stated above, if you don't care about increased performance and HP, not to mention your hearing, go to the local muffler shop and have them make you a straight pipe OR as stated above, just take the guts out of your stock pipe....Cheap and loud, but thats probably it. On the positive side, people racing you won't have to listen to it very long, they will all be ahead of you...:D

Just get one on ebay. I got a procircuit pipe and fmf header for around 100 for both. it may not look as nice, but its not like i am driving in a parade.

My big gun on my ex was the loudest pipe i have yet to own on any quad.
Now im trying a yoshi. But since you want cheap, then just rip off you muffler. Usually cheap and performance dont go hand in hand unless you go used parts.

I have had a DMC Alien and the Big Gun, the DMC is like 50 times louder then the big gun....

well im no engine guru by far...but im almost positive that running with no exhaust and straight headpipe will burn the valves out, anybody feel free to correct me if im wrong but ive heard this from a few folks

From what I understand, with no backpressure, air from outside the exhuast can make its way back through the exhuast and get to the valves, where the valves are very hot the cold air hits them and bends and warps them.

but with the bike running there's really no way for the cold air to get it. There's still enough backpressure in the header

my buddy just cut his stock pipe back about half the distance and took out the bafflings... perty dang loud

Well all you have to do is buy an mx 4 from white brothers. Its like their carbon pro but its a stainless slip on version. Order from gopartsdirect.com for around 285 bucks. plus its one of the best looking exhaust out there. Did i mention its extremely loud.

sparks x6 or TC shorty....im going from a X6 to a tc shorty do to the fact that if i get rear ended racing the shorty is ALOT more protected

Its no fun when your gettin in trouble for noise ordinance or anything. If you have *****y neighbors you will ahve them calling the fuzz on you every time you fire your bike up.

just go with a decent loud pipe that gives respectable hp, and that is tuneable and you will be glad you got it.

TC is not a trail pipe. You will cause you and your fellow quad rider buddys more trouble then what the pipe is worth when you got land owers blocking off their property, and you loose out on all your riddin areas

Ok first things first, your not going to burn a valve from running no muffler. Has anyone ever seen a drag bike before with no muffler on it? I never understood why people thought this. I've even heard dealers tell customers before that they will burn a valve if they remove their baffle. The only way to do damage by doing any of this is not rejetting and burning the whole motor up. Has anyone actually ever seen a burnt valve before from running an unrestricted exhaust? Didn't think so.

Secondly the TC is probably one of the loudest pipes I've ever heard, but its not practical. Its a strictly MX pipe, closed course competition and thats where it should stay(unless your riding far away from civilization)

Also I have an FMF Titanium-4 for sale. Slip-on only, I have mid-pipes for either a 400ex or a 450R. $175 shipped.

cobra cheepest loud pipe and sucks . but tcs is loudest but not going to give good hp on a stock motor.

on the dyno a stock 400ex dynos 25 hp 100% stock.
with a tc slip on still only dynos 25 hp. woooow:eek2:

Is that right from his site or can you show us the dyno of this. Usually a 400ex with open air box, filter, jets and slip-on will hit around 27 hp.

Tie a whistle around your neck if you think you'll get lost. It's easier for the search dogs to find you. I think. Better yet. carry a hand held GPS unit. You can get one for under 150 bucks at walmart or Target.

well my pipe on my 400ex is loud as no running no pipe at all. theirs pics of it on atvconnection. im getdrunk and click on my pic thing and it shows pics n u can see my muffler. its only good for drag though.
