Z400 octane

Since the new Z has such a high octame, do u have to run race gas or just premium pump.

The engines don't have high octane. U need high octane when u have a high. comp. piston. 11:1 or higher requires higher octane than 93 and the Z has 11.3:1 comp. ratio but is liquid cooled so ur fine on pump.

sorry about that, i meant compression. i didnt know that liquid cooling would allow for a lower octane. huh.

I just use 94 from sunoco saves the hassle. The z will run I think down to 87 so I have heard, but why mess with it. Just get at least 90.
