View Full Version : My Kick___ scooter, just starting to learn airbrush...PICS

Hey, well I boughta scooter about a month ago just to beat on for $150 just because it just looked so retarded. haha, its a 1985 Honda elite 250, well the motor I got with it threw a rod so I ended up putting in a hona elite 150 motor in it(couldnt find any 250 motors). So I put the 250 head on the 150 and velocity ported the crap out of it, and put the 250 carb on it and made my own exhaust(your average glasspack). Then I shortened the frame 8 1/2 inches in the middle just for the hell of it. So at this point I have the stupid lookin yellow thing as show below, funny as hell. Well hell I just got my airbrush and I want to try it out, so I invest in a airbrush book and go right at it, 2 hours later I come up with the flamed out pile below. Man do I get some great looks goin main street( I made it street legal, on liability and tabs for it). What do you guys think? Way too much time on my hands... haha-darren

finished- oh yeah dig the sheeps wool seat:devil: . Took it to the track to putz around with my buddies sat... haha we were getting like 2 feet vertical air. haha-darren

the flames dont look half bad,look pretty good.seems like a fun bike,post pics of you riding!!..hve fun with it lol

Lean back a few inches and give her a lil throttle she can hold wheelies No problem:blah: . Pointers for airbrushing- invest in a few books, and just keep foolin around with it. Thats exactly what I did, this is my 2nd time I tried foolin around with it and look how it turned out! Have some fun with it. Try to get friend's crappy cars to let them try paint stuff on it. I alreddy got like 10 offers from friends. PM me if you have some more questions.-darren

Air brushing is pretty hard untill you get used to it ..... when i first got mine i just played around with it .... never really did learn how to use it good ....
