im thinking about getting a set of the 12in travel versions for my r this winter, and i was wondering what you guys thought of them? and if youve used them? what have they done for you?

works shock were never that great but are a good shock but from what heard from other people the black widows are supose to perform as good or better than elka's but thats not helping you to much.

Overpriced elkas is what they are. If u are gonna spend the money and go long travel get pep or axis

axis and peps are awesome but you should at least go to motowoz.com and read about the shocks. I know not to many people have heard of them but they going to be a major contender when more people try them.

I have run the Black Widows now for a full season, I love them. They perform very well.

Yes, that is true. It took alot of time and effort to get them to sponsor me as they have. Many hours of phone calls and many hours of research have gone into my suspension. I work with a company here in my hometown that builds a-arms and steering stems so we have specific specs needed to make the suspension all work in harmony. Works did an excellent job with this, and during this they offered me a sponsorship.
