yesterday i deciced 2 ride fast so i kept it in rev limiter the whole time for lik 5 or 10 minutes nd i started it up 2day nd when i rev up the engine half way it backfires......ne1 kno y?

if the top end blew that would giv me an excuse to get hi-comp pistons....nd i didnt even start the quad or anything with a motor since a lil over a month so i got a lil side tracked

why not just save up the money and wait till you need a new piston or just add other aftermarket parts on there that dont deal with going into the engine

i hav a pipe filter nd pwr jets skid plates tires nerfs nd a sproket nd soon getin that g-force axle nd i dont know wut else to really add

than just wait till you need a pistion the beat the crap out of a 7000$ quad just for a piston it dont make sense

sounds like someone is a little to rich in the fuel mixture but holding at the rev limiter you might have fried the ringsm are you burnin oil? if not re jet it

so you know how to run your quad for 10 mins at the rev limter but you dont know if your quad smokes:rolleyes:
is there blue smoke comming out of your exhaust pipe

is there any oil in the tip of your exhaust while runnin it?? is there oil on the plug??

no bro i didnt mix the gas im runnin it on super nd yea i chekd nd no oil is burnin, nd i dont think i hav fried rings b/c its not giving off excessive smoke jus fire every time i get on the gas nd let off
