Whats the shortest run you can make and still do a plugcheck.

u have to do it in 4th gear toped out.

but if u run in 5th gear alot then u have to do it in that gear toped out if thats wear u run alot.

how exactly do u do a plug check to get the correct reading? Cant i just check my plug after normal riding?

It has to be ran at full throttle or 1/4 to 3/4 depending on what jet you are checking and the motor has to be cut of and the clutch pulled in at the same time while still on the gas. then coast like that to a stop pull plug and check.

that doesnt sound like fun, havin a burning header half an inch from your hand

you can do all that, or you can simply putt around in 3rd or 4th gear and hold the throttle steady, and flip your choke on........if it runs better, your lean, if it runs worse, your jetting is either correct, or rich.

the engine has to be at opperating temp too.
