What are you hoping to change about it? Stock setup is good. I switched to 15/39 for a little more torque in the trails.

Im assuming you run the stock 20''s out back ,if you really want to get more torque a 14 will help quite a bit and if you want even more low end try a 13 awesome but it will hurt top speed big time Ive tried both of those but I have 22''s in back so I had to regain some grunt because of the tire size .

are you trying to get more low end, or are you trying to get top speed? as for tires, you dont have to buy new ones, though you will notice an big improvement in acceleration, turning, and braking with an decent aftermarket tire such as the holeshots, kenda's, or razr's. for sizing, it depends on your riding, if you ride mx, you may very well want an smaller tire, but if you trailride, you want to keep your ground clearance so go with the same size or maybe an slightly larger tire. keep in mind, changing your rear tire size affects your gearing

Again, it all depends on what your using it for.

If you're mostly riding trails then you might consider 22" for better ground clearance.

If you're riding the track then 18" would give you more stable ride, more predictable sliding and a lower center of gravity.

I stuck with 20" for a kind of happy medium. However I have to stay out of the deeply rutted trails or I'll get hung up.
