I was flipping through dirtwheels today, and I came across a white brothers e2 test for the z-250. Well anyways, they said that the pipe made second gear starts easier and more confident. After that they were talking about how to do second gear starts on auto clutches, this is what I think is wierd, supposedly the best way to do it is when you are in first, shift up into second, but hold the shifter up, then rev the engine and quickly drop the shifter:huh Wouldn't this wreck the trans? Or would it be fine?

i dont think its bad for it, its just your clutch your putting the stress on, which is pretty easyily replaced

I tried it once and yeah it is definatly faster. I didn't hear any clunking or anything either.

My friends son has a Z 250 and he tore the splines off the drive shaft riding it like that.
