i have a question for you, did you run a steering dampner?stick type?where did you mount it?

i plan on gettining axis shocks and really cant see where i would mount it.

ATTN: QuadRacer041--> I never ran any sort of steering stabilizer. The way I had my frame gusseted and where I had my front cannisters mounted, I couldnt put a stabilizer. In the past month, I sold my Axis shocks and got new shocks and I am planning on running one of those new Precision Steering stabilizers or a dual Denton/Gibson setup.

From what I read for both front and rear, around $2300, which isn't that bad considering the older models for a full set was about 2200 retail for front and rear dual adjust.

mine , seth at SF Racing is one of my buds ,i race with him at coal valley , watermans indoor , great guy and he has probally the nicest 450r ever. Great guy and does wonders with shocks . my elkas are setup from him.

That is an '05. Dee at Rage ATV was out of the 13.5:1 pistons at the time. He had dynoed the other bike with the 11:1 in it and got the numbers you see in my sig so I went with that for now. Plus I can run pump gas. I run a 50/50 mix of 93 and 112 though and it rips. Now I want more so I just dropped it back off to him and he is putting in his 13.5:1 piston in it and it should be about 52-53hp and 37ftlbs torque he said. I will pick it up next week with a dyno sheet. Cant wait! He has really got the Honda figured out. His new site is www.rageatvracing.com It is still being updated but check it out.

At the time of the pic, I just put those graphics on, and it was left over from trimming up the kit.

I wanted to see how long they would last. Suprisingly they stayed on a whole race day!
