would it work fine if I used 19 3/4 elkas with houser a-arms that use 19 1/2 shocks or would it just cause problems??

The length of the shock all depends on the manufacturer. Ive seen 19.5 all the way to 20.5in on Housers. They should work fine.

i am running 19 3/4 shocks ware im suppose to run 20 1/2 and they are perfectly fine no problems
