400ex vrs warrior

is their ne chance a warrior with jets can beat a 400ex on the track and in a highway drag? i mean without rider diffeences

or what about a 2002 warrior with pipe and jets? cuz my friend is gonna get this before next weekend he claims and he claims hes gonna smoke me.... mine is a 2005 400ex only bored .10 over

it depends on the rider mostly, with the same rider the warrior can't beat the 400.

i believe it couldn't beat the 400ex and it also help that yours is bored a bit too. he has no chance if you can atleast get a nice start off the line, no stalling or wheelies

i thought he wouldn't have a chance i think i might be a little better of a rider than him since he doesn't ride to much hes to busy but like i said without rider abbilites cuz don't all of us think were better than the other guy? well unless hes pro

Just my .02 but i've ridden a warrior and i own a 400ex and there is no way a piped warrior will beat even a stock 400. It's simple numbers a stock 400 is 27-28 hp and is 375 lbs, a stock warrior is 20-21 hp and maybe 22-23 piped and is just shy of 400 lbs, no matter how you work it out numbers don't lie, if you are even skill level you will win easily, the only way you would lose is if you can't ride at all. Just my opinion.

true a warriors accleration is real bad i tried riding wheelie on his and it was a real struggle to get that thing up ty for input i didn't think he had a chance but i thought i'd give him a chance

a stock 400 would blow away and piped warrior even if you are alittle worse of a rider

a few months ago i had the chance to ride with a one day old raptor 350...i was the leader as i was the only one that knew the trails...
anyway, on the way back we took a road, and i was just cruising in low 3rd' gear cause we had some ute bikes with a passenger, and i look back and here come this raptor 350 as fast as he can go...i waited until he was almost up to me before i accelerated any more...looked back at him again and nailed the throttle...the 400ex just took off and when i shifted into 5th, the raptor was nowhere to be found...it kinda reminded me of how the 2nd place driver will try to get a run on the first place driver on restart in nascar...except, the raptor 350 couldn't hang...when we stopped, i asked th guy why he let off...he said he didn't...

It is possible that a warrior could take a 400 but I had a warrior and now have a 400ex. Trust me you will stomp the warrior. I have had both at the same time and tested this, and the honda was consistant on beating the yamaha.

I have a 2001 400ex w sparks exhaust, k&n, jet kit, and who knows what else, ( I just bought it used and not sure of motor mods). My dad has a 2001 warrior w/ a k&n and i only beat it by 15 or 20 ft with a heavier rider on it. go figure. 400's are slow if you ask me. Im going to regear and retry

its bored cuz i got water in the engine thro the airbox/ crankcase breather hose and knocked teh rings off and they f'd up the cylinder i was riding in a river..... watched a banshee go thro before me he mad it fine and then i did and we was 2 hours from the truck is why i couldn't jus not ride it and drain the crankcase so we dry filter got all the water outta the topend and finished our ride and thats when it messed up

no offense but you must be the worst rider ever to only beat a warrior by 20ft taht is almost embarising

I may be wrong, but I believe a warrior has the same motor as a wolverine???? I have a wolvy, and a 400ex, and there is not a chance in "you know where" that a worrior could beat a 400ex. Even modded.
My wolverine w/warn424 in 2wd would be pathetic against my 400ex. I take the hill on county road in 4'th and 5'th balls to the wall on the EX and the wolvy has to be in 2'nd. I know the wolverrine and worrior are 2 diff animals, but that motor(350)? No Way!:devil:

I raced a Warrior with a pipe on my stock 400ex. This was when I first started riding and the guy on the Warrior had been riding for many years. Sure he killed me out of the hole cause I was fairly new at riding, but I caught up and blow by him and had like a 35 ft. lead when it was over.
