I'm pulling a 400ex motor and I'm down to the last bolt...the swingarm bolt. I can't get it to budge. I think the swingarm has grooved the bolt. Any ideas?

Try a search, you'll find that MANY people have had this problem.

I believe there is even a thread in the FAQ section.

those things do get stuck in there i tell you what. i damaged mine getting it out. if you do get it out, be sure to coat it or the new one with alot of antisieze. if you are just rebuilding the top end i would suggest an inframe rebuild on it. i just beat the hell out of mine with a brass punch. don't use a metal punch, you will mushroom the end of the bolt and you will never get it out.

I did a search on it and liked Pappy's idea....i used a plasma cutter to cut a section out of the spacer, then slid the motor over and cut the shaft on the other side. Lifted the motor out and drove the bolt out from the inside out. I figured it would be grooved, but I really didn't see any grooves. Hope the next one comes out easier.
