Hey Pappy,

Can you weld the rings onto a pair of rims? If so How much would it cost? I was also going to have them PCed while they were there if you could do that.

I have a pair of 8" x 8" rims that I want to make into beadlocks for MX.

it can be done, but i personally dont do them. the company that does all my aluminum work prefers to use only new rims when making beadlocks.

if its just reinforced rings that im sure they will do, but i will have to get a qoute for that service

The rims are supposed to be "new", guy that I bought them from said that they only had tires mounted on them, but never ridden on.

If you could get me a quote, I would appreciate it. If I remember correctly, I thought Burgard sold the rings?

is that the reinforcing ring or the beadlock? How much would the service cost?

ok, i asked today and they will do the ring install. rings are $30 and its 20 to have them welded in per rim. IMO id just buy some reinforced rims:p

I will let you know when I receive the wheels, then I will send the to you to have some beadlocks made. Do I send the money to you?

lemme see if i can get this right:p

1 beadlock assembly $30
1 inner ring $20
mounting the beadlock and inner ring $40

thats 90 total per rim. new beadlocks are $110 or so.:p
