Im planning to get air scoops bigger cooler oil tank etc. maybe even a thermometer in the bottle to know when shes really smokin & shut her down but has anyone ever ran an electric fan ?I know some of the air cooled H onda utility machines had one my concern is the stator having enough juice to power everything & not run the battery down because Im using more volts than Im makin has anyone done this? & what cooling goodies are best to keep it cool ?

Contact pappy about the battery,he can get them with more cranking juice therefore you can run a extra thing on them

More cca's i think they have

a bigger battery would just run down anyway I just wanna know the apropriet atv fan that wont draw more amps than Im makin while the machine is running ,theres no need for a bigger battery ,a stator maybe to increase the amps to run accessories such as a fan , or the right fan that doesnt draw too much power would be ideal & wouldnt require an updated stator thats what Ide like.

kind of a waste of your time there guy, both of those together will lower your engine a whole temp if that, probably not even that, your oil may be a little cooler but the engine temp will still be the same, the only thing constructive you'll be doin is helping so your oil doesn't break down as quickly, as far as engine temp it will remain virtually the same, I run a stock cooler and tank and no fan on my engine, and i have no heat issues, so why fool and spend your money on that stuff

The extra oil cooler like the FST works great. I build my own from RamChargers and it dropped my temps atleast 10 degrees.

I don't think you'll find a fan large enough to push enough air past the engine to make a difference.

How many small, electric fans do you know that are capable of 40mph windspeed?

where are you taking your temps :o

and i will admit the fst cooler is decent cause it's droping cold oil directly on the cam, but not worth the money, i haven't had any cam failures with my engine or abnormal wear in the 3 seasons i've ran it

aaahhhh nevermind i see your little tempometer, your oil temp doesn't tell you the temp of the engine, i'd rather see you take a temp gun and tell me the temp of the cylinder, i bet it's still stock temp or right around there, if your jetted properly
