depends on what size tires and what your doing with the quad.

i run 14/37 with a 330

i use to run 14/38 with a worked 265

hey beerock, ive got a duncan 265 pv, and am running the stock gearing... right now racing at the various comp hills down at glamis and around i run em all pinned in 4th... have you been down there and is that too high of gearing to top out 4th shooting the hill?

when i was at glamis with my 265 i ran 13 37
with paddles I could get into 6th with that gearing, i couldnt with 14/39, but i had to be on it.

youre not talking about going up olds in 6th are you?

I doubt he was talking about that i think he meant pulling 6th in the sand alone. my stock motor was very difficult to pull 6th in deep sand and up slight hills.
