cr250 ign worth it? [Archive]

Alright guys. im savin for a cr250 ignition... my question is, is it worth the 500 bucks? i race mx, so i need all the acceleration i can get. i kno wut it does and everyhting, but i just wondering if u guys taht have it... is it worth the money? right now i got the another question is... do i gotta run a cr250 coil, or are all coils the same? right now im runnin a janseen high output coil.

Its definately worth it to me. If you order it through ESR you get everthing like stator, coil, cdi,wiring harness and mounting adapters. The only thing it dones not come with is a rubber boot to hold the CDI to the frame. I bought that seperatly. Maybe you can get through ESR also.

the stock boot around my stock cdi fit right on the cr one.
