anyone had a problem with the foam padding tearing apart from the frame of your scott goggles? if so do you think some crazy glue or something of that nature would make it hold or would it eat the foam?

i think that it will eat the foam... just let it go... you'll be fine

it does that too on my spy's. they usually last a month and it starts coming apart and gets worse and worse. i usually just teat it off as soon as it starts getting bad

what you think would hold good without eating it up? i would just let it go but its went to far and the foam is gone....scott goggles suck in quality.

my pro grips were doing this on top so i put some elmers glue on the spot tearing off, spread it around with my finger and let it dry for about 2 days and this was a couple months ago. still holding up real good

smiths arent all that great..... on the box mine said made with finest adhesive somethin to hold it together and it was double foam..... the first tear happened a month later and now its a huge tear..... dirt just goes right through and i can hardly see at the end of a ride.... but i would buy a nother pair for the comfort, its a comfortable goggle

I used to wear Scott model 83's a long time ago and I remember the crappy foam deteriorating on me after each use. The foam is kinda cheap.

I have two sets of Smith Warp Stars now and I absolutely love them for looks and durability. They have what they call "sweatbuster foam" which is like foam that is wrapped all the way around in it's own fabric covering so it doesn't fall apart on you. Even after being washed a bunch of times, they've held up very well

personaly, i like the progrip light sensitive and smith warp roll-offs. The only problem i have with the smiths is the container covers breaking. Nothing tape doesnt fix.

well saturday morning before going to the line at the ironman gncc i decided to go buy a new pair off goggles and all they had was scott so i got the works system that has the roll-offs and the tear -off system and i love them they are nice on starts and work all the way through the race.

with the works can you start with tear offs and when you run out switch to roll-offs?

im defently ordering a pair of them before my next race. I have never used tear offs but it will be nice to have six and then an entire roll of film.
