450r messed up

Well tell me what you think about this....My buddy and i was racing up this hill and i hit this little bump and i hit the rev limiter then the next thing i kno is that my quad is sputtering really bad....could that just be electrical or could i sheered the degree key? what do u think could of gone wrong?

Btw i have a 450r

take apart your carb and look for sh1t in there...supposedly plastic from the gas tank comes loose and jams it up

Well i cleaned out my carb and nothings in there....this thing sounds like i have a restrictor on my quad like i can punch it and it will rev fine but as soon as i give it quarter throttle it will sputter like no other...and it will also idle fine

I'm having the same problem, its even making me foul plugs, I went and rejetted, changed my rev box, cleaned the carb, changed gas, could it be the timeing chain jumped.

Ya mine fouls plugs like crazy....it will idle im going to get a video of it now...i even rejetted it 2 just nothing happened...im taking it to a guy tonight to see if my degree key is sheared

That happened on my 400ex and it turned out to be the boot between the carb and airbox popped off. Same type of scenario, hit a bump and the quad starts cutting out.
