I got this tool for my air compressor that cleans spark plugs. You put the spark plug in one end and air hose in the other and press a button. I has a bag on it with sand. Makes them look new.

I have one too. I used alot for my lt250r but the plugs are never as good as new. Your better off just tossing them. Plus my 400 has never fouled a plug. (Knock on wood)

yea, its like a SANDBLASTER effect, right? I use a sandblaster on my plugs, but i usually buy new ones. Just in emergency cases i use it.
You're not supposed to use sandblasters because grits of sand can get wedged up in the plug and fall out into your cylinder and possibly cause damage

I make sure i get all of the sand out of the plug. It runs just as good with them being cleaned as it does with new ones.

There should be a switch that turns the spray from sand to straight air that will clean the sand out.

there is. I double check it with a thin piece of wire. I took the black grit stuff out of the plug cleaner and put some regular sand blasting sand in and it works alot better.

Another old trick for "fixing" a fouled plug is to put it in the oven and heat it up for a few minutes.
NOTE: This tends to be a bad idea aroud Thanksgiving.
