ok...got a question...im looking to see if the 88-89 250r swing arm will fit my 87? if so what modifications do i gotta make??

Yes and No.

In order to use an '88-'89 swingarm on an '86-'87 frame you will need to add at least a lower rear engine mount to the frame.

The bolt for the '86-'87 swingarm passes through the cradle for upper/lower rear engine mounts while the '88-'89's have mounts on the frame.
