Quad Off Road Magazine is looking for an On-Line Associate Editor
The ideal candidate will research and write articles, cover events for Web, and assist with editing/writing columns for the magazine. This position is full-time with some travel required. The minimum weight lift requirement is 30 lbs. Candidates must also be able to ride ATVs.
Skills Needed:
* Strong writing, reporting, interviewing, photography, and editing skills.
* Experience with magazines, newspapers, or websites necessary.
* Self starter with strong journalism, web skills and personal initiative
required. Minimal knowledge of the ATV industry is required as will be active participation in the sport (e.g. the employee will be expected to ride and test the latest ATVs and accessories).
* Minimum two-year college preferred.
* Knowledge of Macintosh computers and MS Word a must. Additional experience in Excel and Photoshop helpful.
* Candidate will display strong personal initiative, creativity and great interpersonal skills.
Quad Off-Road Magazine is a fast-paced magazine with daily deadlines that must be met regularly. Come ready to work.
