i found out that if you take ur front wheels and flip them around..ur quad is about 3-5 inches wider on the yfz 450..this happens because of the offset....all u need to make it wider,is do that and get an axel....it works great..to make ur yfz 450 wider for no cost..try it out..it works great....

sorry dude dont think your the first person to do this, also your valve stem is on the inside and it will hit the caliper, and it puts more stress than needed on the ball joints. also the handling is not as good with the rims they right ways, makes it a little more twitchy.

Makes your break calipers vulnerable to debres hitting them!

and if you have stock honda style wheels, you risk pushing the steel inserts out, and that leads to big problems

you should reverse those rims back to the way they came stock
because sooner or later from the valve stem hitting the top of the calliper the valve stem starts to unscrew so eventualy you are just going to get a flat or a broken ball joint or any other damage in the area of the the front end

As is well documented not having enough bump steer in the quad will cost you greatly in the long run. I personally have been looking for ways to create more bumpsteer, and get better arm pump, because that makes for faster, longer rides.

Thanks again

It's not bumpsteer, but it does offer more "feedback" we'll say. Bumpsteer is different.

Just remember the farther away the centerline of your tire from the pivot point on the spindle, the worse it handles.

y would u give people that idea? its dangerous

flipin the rims is the same as buying spacers. but about the valve stem all u have to do is stick a tube in the tire and drill a new spot for the valve stem. i ran mine like that for a wile.
