I would pick 450r, yfz, or z450. The gas gas just has to many handling problems supposedly.

Last i saw, they were also about 10 grand too. But that was a while ago. I'd rather get something that you can get a lot of parts for, and be able to drive a short distance to the dealer, not have to locate one like 500 miles away from you...

dont get a gas gas, a guy over at YFZ central got sponsered by a dealer and he raced once and went back to his yfz cause the gas gas was so horrible, GET A YFZ or 450r

Save up through winter. Wait until the new Z450 is out. Take a trip to the dealer check it out. Then you can make a decision after you have seen them all. The Magazines will probably have a review out comparing them all by then also. PLus if you were saving no matter what you end up choosing, you will have $$ left over for the add-ons.

well u have one thing in common with them, they are the 2 widest quads on the maket. Isn't gas gas like 50" wide stock ?

I have a GG300 Wild HP. I love it have not really had any major issues with it, but parts are a mail order only item. If you ride hard to the pont that you punish the machine and break alot then go with a Jap for ease of parts. Woods riding nothing can compare with the ability of the 300 2 stroke to lug around and instantly be in the powerband. On the Dunes It has held its own with most if not all 4 strokes, pred, 450r, etc. I can tell you it is like a Dale in the fact that they are race-caliber bikes off the floor, there is not much you need to add or change unlike all the japs, but some people don't need ohlins suspension, and all the nerf/plates for protection.

The average wait I have had for parts have een from immediate delivery for consumables ( brake pads, pistons, chains etc, to a 3 week wait for a new piece of bodywork) there are a few parts distributors in the nation, but you will not probably be able get anything from Parts America dealers.

If you are mechanically inclined almost all the accesory parts area available from parts manufacturers but you need to know what exactly you are asking for. I got all my jets from the KTM dealer because they run the same carbs, I got my new pipe directly from FMF, I called inmotion for a new twist throttle throttle tube, etc)

you definitely will be asked what it is everywhere you go!
