carb question (not jetting)

Im gettin a stage1 hotcam tomorrow and i was gonna clean my carb while im puttin it in but i dont have any carb cleaner...what else can i use? Can i use wd-40? Or could i just wipe it with a dry rag?

I wouldnt use a substitute. Carb spray is only a few bucks and even grocery stores sell it.

i 2nd that, use carb cleaner. if you do use the ol wd-40 you wont have to worry about the carb sqeeking lol!!!!

you could probably putsome gas on a rag to clean it

use some gas or kerosene,some compressed air works too
