predator???

what is this bad ***** bike called the predator? it is awesome, but made by polaris? (thats what i hear) any info please let me in on it

i saw a quad called the predator but it was a little 50cc made by mosquito. is this predator thing that new quad polaris is comin out with cuz they are tired of those slow and stupid scramblers??

i've already been to the website and this bike looks really good, i just can't believe its by polaris but if so they just dropped a bomb on the atv market....one word awesome

That thing is friggin' awesome!!!!! How do you guys know its a Polaris? I myself don't really believe its going to be a production bike at all. I think its the work of a skilled computer operator that is posting his dreams and mine on the web to get us all stirred up. I will tell you if they start selling these I'll have one fast.

You can look up the patent on the internet. Polaris patented the name "predator" January of this year. So that ensures 100% that its a polaris.

Thats still not that heavy. its a 100cc bigger than a 400ex. So its what like 20 pounds heavier? I know my little 250ex is 355lbs. And its light. with it being a bigger engine, liquid cooled, DOHC, 4 vavle 4 stroke, its not that heavy. Ever look at what a DS650 weighs?? And yes its most likey a Polaris. It has a Fox rear shock. Polaris is the only company that uses them for stock. Plus the carrier looks a little like a trailblazer's. AND in dirtwheels they said that polaris is coming out with a new 500cc sport quad. They have been testing it under our noses in HONDA plastic. Dang people. I guess everyone wants to be a Honda!!!

Only problem is that is the dry weight (I think) which means add some more weight. And I am sure it is the weight on the base model not the Cross Country so more weight added. I am not knocking the quad it looks sweet, but let's wait and see what it does. That 500cc motor is great.

it wont ever be in a track except open. there is no 500cc class. in the open class, it will get smoke by really mod raptors and banshees. evn both the 400s (Z400 and the 400ex). It wont have the really strong, light, and nible chassis of the Zs and the 400s. The motor sounds hi-tech, but polaris may not take advantage of that motor. have you seen the a-arms, they look really wierd. I dont think it will be too great IMO.
