XC racing tire

What is the best XC tire. I need something that will hold up the rocky terrain of missouri. I was looking at the HDs or the Razr IIs for the rear. For the front I know Im getting the RazrII. How do the Razr's wear compared to the HD. Im planning on 20in in the rear and 22in in the front

get the razr2 front like you said and either the irazr or a regular razr 6ply tire and you should be fine

Agreed, I run the razr 2 in the front, with razr 1 rear, I am going to try and get irazr for the muddy races. The only problem I hear from the irazr is the almost get to much traction if you aren't in a amuddy race. Just get 6 ply.

I like the razr 2 front and the HD rear we are still running a set of hd rears from July of 04, been through a couple of 6hr races and a couple of xc seasons.
