Ok. i was putting a cd player in my 88' f-150 the other day... while i was doing this i blew a fuse. when i went to put a new one in i knocked out the connector that goes in on of the spots for a trailer brake. When i press the trailer brake button the tail lights go on but when i press the brake pedal, they dont work. This is the connector that allows you to use a trailer brake setup... if anyone has an idea where this weird connector goes or any help at all let me know. thanks... need help ASAP!!!!

BUMP> need help
Remove the connectors and clean them with connector cleaner and reinstall with dielectric grease. Check for broken wires causing a short. What kind of trailer brake system are you running? At a last resort reset the computer. Remove the pos and neg battery cables. Turn the key on and touch the cables together to completely drain the system. Reinstall with dielectric grease.
